Sobre mi

 

Mi gusto por la estética y el romanticismo, me llevó a cursar estudios de decoración , de ahí a que mi interés se decantara por las miniaturas no había más que un paso.

Me compré mi primera casa de Muñecas en Octubre del 2004, empecé buscando información por internet y a documentarme para poder crear mi casita . A medida que iba avanzando en mi casa de muñecas , me aficioné mas y mas a ir haciendo accesorios para ella. Quise probarme a mi misma y me decidí a presentarme en la feria de Cubelles en agosto de 2005 llevando mis piezas de lencería, me gustó tanto la experiencia que me animé a asistir a la feria Internacional de Tom Bishop en Madrid en noviembre del mismo año. Allí descubrí la gran variedad de miniaturas que se podían hacer , vi un mundo real en pequeñito . Con esta idea en la cabeza y paseando por el barrio antiguo de mi ciudad natal, "descubrí " los libros antiguos ; así me adentré en el mundo del papel empezando a elaborar mis libros, cartas, pergaminos etc. Al año siguiente me presente a las ferias de Cubelles y Madrid con mi nueva colección de Librería . A  partir de entonces he ido investigando distintas técnicas y materiales para poder incorporar nuevas piezas .Con los años y la experiencia que he ido adquiriendo a base de tesón y esfuerzo , hoy puedo presentarles mis distintas colecciones .

Desde aquí quiero rendir un homenaje a mi marido recientemente fallecido, él me ha apoyado y animado siempre en esta afición, que no compartía pero era feliz de ver que yo disfrutaba con ello. El era mi critico Ha dejado un gran vacío en mi vida pero estará siempre conmigo .

About me

 

My love of design and romanticism took me to take Home Decorating and Design lessons. From that point on the next step was for me to get interested and involved in miniatures.

I bought my first dollhouse on October 2004. I started looking for information in Internet, trying to learn as much as I could to be able to make a proper dolls' house. As I was making and improving it, I got fond of hand crafting its accessories. I wanted to prove to myself that I was on the right path so I went to Cubelles Miniature Fair on August 2005, taking my haberdashery items.  I enjoyed the experience so much that I made up my mind to attended Tom Bishop Show in November the same year. It was there that I discovered the great range of miniatures that could be handcrafted, seeing a tiny but very real world.

With this idea on my mind and while walking in the old district of my hometown I “discovered” old and antique books.  I started making books, letters, scrolls, etc. The next year I attended Cubelles and Madrid Miniature Shows with my new library collection.  Then I tried different techniques and materials to be able to make new and interesting miniatures.

Now with time ,experience,perseverance and effort,  today I can introduce my various collections.

   I want also pay a tribute on this page to my husband, who recently passed away. He always supported and encouraged my hobby, and though he did not share it he was happy seeing me enjoying it so much.  He was my best critic. He’s left and empty space in my life, but will always be with me.
